"The Trans Milano" photography series, conducted parallel to the creation of the city guide, documents hours behind the scenes; physically, stages of preparation in a dressing room before drag fashion photoshoot and performance; metaphorically, the vital meaning of being part of LGBTQ community and the shifting between genders.

The photography, that straightens at the figures and almost becomes a figure itself, is delicate and rough, in accordance with the emotional and metaphysical change during the process of dressing. The hours of the transformation and identity change, that involve small and large details, joy or pain, play a significant role as a metaphor for the daily dealing of the LGBTQ community with questions of gender, self-confidence, and essence.
